- Kathryn Atwood’s poems have appeared in print and online journals including “Subtle Tea,” “Read This Magazine,” “Freefall,” and “The Same.” She is also a vocalist who presents lecture/performances on the subject of British and American folk and popular song (www.HistorySingers.com).
- Sophia Babai, the child of an Iranian born in India and an Indian born in Africa, has been exploring different worlds though words for as long as she can remember. She has one novel and ten poems published, and will be starting at Yale University this fall.
- Kate Bergen is 28 years old and lives in Westchester County, New York, where she works for an International Non-Profit Organization. Her works have recently been published in literary magazines such as 2RiverView and The Battered Suitcase and have won acclaim in the Greenburgh Poetry Contest. She is an active member of the deviantART community, and an annual participant in NaNoWrimo and ScriptoWrimo. When not glued to her keyboard writing, she enjoys music festivals, nature, singing and painting.
- Martin Broad is 25 years old and works as a freelance writer, poet, author and journalist. He currently lives in London. He has had work showcased in a host of publications ranging from poetry anthologies to specialist magazines. You can find him online here.
- Jason E. Castro has no desire to start your revolution, sell your convertible furniture or sing your latest Top 40 hit. Fiction writing is his passion, and while he quests to write his own Great American Novel, you can find this Staten Island, New York resident’s previous work in literary e-zines such as Danse Macabre, Greensilk Journal and MediaVirus Magazine.
- Michael D Conley is a secondary school teacher from Manchester. He is currently studying part-time for an MA in Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University. He has been previously published in several small-press magazines and e-zines, including the Cadaverine, Angelic Dynamo, the Black Market Review, Glasgow Review and Flash Magazine. He particularly admires the work of Sylvia Plath, John Berryman, Charles Simic and Clare Shaw.
- A senior at American University in Washington, DC, Jessica Dall is a firm believer in the power of words to change the world. Jessica prides herself in being the author of books which are new and thought-provoking such as her novel The Me Culture and novella The Gospel of Abraham
- Daniel W. Davis is a graduate student born and raised in Central Illinois. His work has appeared in various online and print journals. You can follow his work and musings here.
- Cyndi Dawson is a Poet, Wordrocker and Performance Poet. her work has appeared in nearly 100 print and online publications and she has performed internationally. Her book, ‘Outside Girl’, from Poets Wear Prada Press will be out in 2010. Her website can be found here.
- Amanda Deo is a 26-year old university administrator in New Jersey. North of the Mason-Dixon Line published by In/Words magazine in 2005 and The Hanged Manpublished by Thunderclap Press in 2010. - Joe Dresner graduated from Lancaster University in 2009, where he studied English, Philosophy and how to avoid being expelled. He was born, and currently lives, in Sunderland, England. He is also published online in The Cadaverine and Pomegranate.
- John Fisher is a poet who has written a few books and live near Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk. At the moment he is in the process of setting up a space for art exhibitions and am interested in all aspects of the written word whilst also trying to get into music.
- Alan Gann teaches writing workshops in local schools and sex-ed (at his UU church). He is a poetry editor for the Dallas Poets Community’s journal, Illya’s Honey. Somehow he still finds time for hiking, biking, bird watching and photographing dragonflies. Recent work appears in Borderlands, Main Street Rag,and Red Fez.
- Luis Galvan is an aspiring poet. Currently, he resides in the town of pilsen in Chicago, Illinois. He is 20 years old and has a fancy for all sorts of art: Theater, opera, poetry, music, Etc. He plans on majoring in English, and hope to have a BA literature and philosophy when he finishes college.
- Paul Heatley has previously been published online at Sex and Murder and Read This Magazine. He lives in the North East of England.
- David E. Howerton is a freelance programmer. He and his wife Angelic live in the American River Canyon just outside of Auburn California.
- Writing under the name of iDrew to co-ordinate with her titles, Essex girl Drew has previously been published in various magazines such as: ‘The Delinquent’, ‘Battered Suitcase’, ‘All Things Girl’, and the ‘Read This Skin Deep Anthology’. She enjoys shopping, boys and clubs but claims these are all merely research for her writing. She is also one of the founding members of the Clueless Collective.
- Michael Lee Johnson is a poet and freelance writer from Itasca, Illinois. Michael has been published in over 23 countries. He is also editor/publisher of four poetry sites, which can be found at his website, where his published works can also be found.
- Derrick Keeton is a poet, writer, and journalist who has worked for The Bristol Herald-Courier and lives in Southeast Tennessee, in his hometown of Athens, TN where he is a student majoring in English at Tennessee Wesleyan College. He is the author of The Void: A Collection of Short Stories and Poems (Due out Early 2011).

- Lili Leader lives in Washington State. She enjoys reading every book she comes across, sipping on very hot coffee, and conversations with those around her. She is currently working on her first novel.
- Dylan Luloff is a student at Columbia College in Chicago, IL where he studies creative writing. He is originally from a town on the Mississippi River and finds inspiration for writing in his past experiences there. In his spare time he can most likely be found skateboarding through the streets of Chicago.
- Matt Markle is a 19 year old physics major in upstate New York. He has been writing from a young age, and continues to fill nights and notebooks whenever the mood strikes. This is his first publication.
- Robert Marsland is a writer living in Glasgow’s southside where he currently volunteers for Oxfam books and records. He has had two collections of poetry published by Ettrick Forest Press and is the founder and editor of Essence poetry magazine. His work has recently appeared in The New Writer and Gutter Magazine, and online in The Osprey Journal, The Glasgow Review and Words-Myth. He also publishes his own pamphlets.
- Chloe Mayne is first year Engish student at the University of Tasmania, Australia. Poetry is an obsession that throws itself upon her unexpectedly and demands to be heard; in lectures, on busses, and on occasion in her sleep. - Corey Mesler has published in numerous journals and anthologies. He has published four novels, a book of short stories, numerous chapbooks and one full-length poetry collection. He has been nominated for a Pushcart numerous times, and two of his poems have been chosen for Garrison Keillor’s Writer’s Almanac. He runs a bookstore in Memphis.
- Dancer/choreographer turned painter/writer, Neila Mezynski has fiction and poetry published and forthcoming on Snow Monkey Journal, Word Riot, Rumble, Mud Luscious, Apt, Zygote In My Coffee, Foundling Review , Everyday Poets, Bewildering Stories among several others.
- A Canadian author & composer, Luigi Monteferrante’s work appears in +30 magazines; At the Hearth of the Devil’s Lair, debut novel, followed by 2000-mile book tour on a Vespa. - Sergio Ortiz is a poet, and photographer. He has a B.A. in English literature from Inter-American University, and a M.A. in philosophy from World University. He was recently published, or is forthcoming in: The Battered Suitcase, Zygote in my Coffee, Poor Mojo’s Almanac(k), Writers’ Bloc. Flutter Press published his debut chapbook, 2009. Ronin Press will publish his second chapbook.

- Edward Rodosek is a Construction Engineer and Senior Professor in Univesity of Ljubljana, Slovenia, European Union. Beside his professional work he writes science fiction. More than fifty of his short stories have been published in SF magazines–including Sparkbright–in UK, USA, Australia and India. Recently he published in USA the collection of short stories “Beyond Perception”.
- Jason Sturner lives in the western suburbs of Chicago. He has published three books of poetry, all of which are available as free downloads at Google Books. In addition to poetry, Sturner writes short stories of psychological horror and the supernatural. He is a botanist, and his website can be found here.
- Parker Tettleton is an English major at Kennesaw State University. His work is featured in or forthcoming from Short, Fast, and Deadly, Right Hand Pointing, The Medulla Review, > kill author and elimae, among others. He blogs here.
- Chloe Waterfield is an 18-year-old writer/artist currently residing in the Mediterranean gem of Malta. Here, she spends her time delving into her past and future, being inspired and influenced to create a variety of written and visual pieces of art. She hopes to make a career out of one, or both, sometime in the future, and is currently working on gaining exposure for both her writing and her art.
- Dean West lives on the south coast of England where nothing ever happens. To counteract this, he spends the majority of his time, writing, doing photography and generally day dreaming in between his mundane job. He updates a gallery of work on Deviantart and hopes that you can take the time to have a quick look.
- Originally from a small town in woodsy West Virginia, Gloria Wimberley who holds an MA in English, now lives in plumbago-is-plentiful South Florida with her husband David and daughters Shea and Liz. Also, Gloria was selected to be the Showcased Poet for the 2010 Spring Issue of Muse Cafe Quarterly.
- Kevin Winter, a pharmacist by trade, resides in Northern Mississippi with his wife and two dogs. His works appear or are forthcoming in Bartleby Snopes, The Battered Suitcase, and The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature.
